Abstract

The selective transmission of information is one of the most important services in libraries and information centers. It is the link between the source and the beneficiary and the relevant sources. They link the same sources through the keywords and then send them to the beneficiaries, thus reducing the time and effort of Before the beneficiaries in the access to sources or information so the application of this service is important and gives a positive indication of the progress of the library towards the integration of its services, and from this point came this research to answer some questions, including:1. What are the outlets of the beneficiaries (the research community) in obtaining the sources of information?2. What are the components of the library that qualify for this service?3. Will the provision of this service make the beneficiaries maintain their objective orientation from the library's sources of information?4. What is the means of communication preferred by the beneficiaries in communicating information to them?5. What are the most positive and negative aspects in applying this service in the library?
