The religious identity in tradition of Al-Jahiz Jews and Christians as modal (study in light of the cultural criticism)

Abstract:In tradition of Al-Jahiz appeared many identities which he adopted to show their contexts as well as their manifestations in the reality and the collective imagination for the people in the third century AH. For the religious identity, it was a special discourse in his books which undertook to introduce both Muslims and non-Muslims such as Jews, Christians and the Magi.For Jews and Christians, he described them, in distorted image by defined by real and false attributes. So their identity appeared to be deficient which appears as original value in the believers of those two religions morally and ethically through stories which mostly include humiliation and contempt as patterns culturally oriented contexts of marginalization for the others by evoking semantic components which sometimes lack the historical precision to strengthen this framework and discoursed oriented.
