The Role Of Lean Production Costs In Reducing Failure Costs
Abstract
The research aims to clarify the knowledge foundations of the costs of lean production and its role in reducing the costs of poor quality (the costs of failure). Reaching a set of conclusions, the most important of which is that lean production is one of the techniques that has a significant impact in determining the costs of unnecessary activities and operations, which are considered failure costs for economic units, and that the application of lean production tools achieves improvements in the quality of products throughout their life cycle, and thus eliminates everything that leads to To increase costs without adding value, which contributes to reducing failure continuously. Based on the conclusions, a set of recommendations were presented, the most important of which are: Rationalizing the optimal use of resources.
