Abstract

Water transport occupies great importance in transporting goods of varioustypes, hence the importance of research to know the reality of transport movement inIraqi ports (Umm Qasr Port, Khor Al-Zubair Port, Abu Flus Port) for its distinguishedlocation in transport between different countries of the world, and the most importantresults reached by the research Most of the ships arriving and departing are foreign, andthe number of Iraqi ships exporting goods is small. In terms of importance, Umm QasrPort ranked first in terms of the quantity of imported goods, while Khor Al-Zubair Portranked first in terms of exported goods. The quantity and quality of imported andexported goods varies from month to month.
