The role of information technology in building the strategic vision: An exploratory study in premium class hotels in the city of Baghdad

Abstract

The research aims at investigating the role of information technology in the strategic tourism vision. The hotels are chosen in Baghdad to show the use of information technology in the strategic tourism vision. The study deals with the establishment of employees in research organizations in Baghdad in three hotels: Royal Tulip, Crystal, and Jinan Hill. The questionnaire form is designed to search for (40) data investment using specialized research centers (members of hotel management, heads of departments, heads of divisions and units) in the hotels under investigation. Broad information is adopted such as (social components, data, communication networks, software, and human resources). The dimensions of tourism vision is used such as (information, tourism organizations, and communication).
