Journal of Al-Bahith Al-A’alami (ABAA) is a pioneering scientific, peer review, and refereed scholarly journal that provides an open forum for researchers, academics, and service providers in the fields of media, communication science, and journalism studies. It focuses on the role of new media, communication technologies, and the effect of representing information in various formats according to quality of service and experience. ABAA aims to provide state-of-the-art knowledge in all aspects of advanced multimedia communications technology. Special emphasis is given to interdisciplinary research.

The first issue was published in 2005 by the College of Mass Communication/ University of Baghdad. ABAA is a quarterly published journal (March, June, September, and December of the year), and it follows rigorous scientific arbitration procedures. Moreover, all of its content is openly accessible and free of charge.

ABAA journal publishes top academic research and is a space for qualified discussions aimed at elucidating the social and political dynamics prompted by media and journalism in contemporary society. The reflections contribute to a more profound and critical knowledge of the various factors, time periods, and impacts of the complex phenomena of communication. It seeks to bring together a variety of issues and approaches, from history to sociology, from law to economics, from practices to technologies and uses, and constitutes an element of reflection and debate within a vast community looking at the peculiarity of the fields of media and journalism.

     The Journal stems from communications studies, their descriptive experimental and Historical principles, theoretical and field studies. It encourages refereed data relying on enhanced statistical means since it is the language of science, which reflects the genius of human creativity, as it is indispensable for researchers in the field of computers and computer programs that facilitate field research in treatment and outcomes.

    The Journal of Ivy Lee Journal Of Public Relations starts from academic research approaches embracing serious studies based on theoretical frameworks, especially the new ones based on the movement of science and knowledge to stimulate development and growth in the fields of research that follow tests and standards to conclude outcomes. Hence, it copes with global research movement and its contribution to the spirit of trust, objectivity and intellectual honesty, causes detection and the nature of the relations between social variables and its governing laws. In addition, there are analytical and technical theoretical studies that address the ideas and theories of the scholars of social, anthropological, psychological and other study fields. This will help in creating knowledge accumulation, which contributes in building human civilization, The Iraqi Public Relations Association (IPRA) has also contributed to presenting an interactive objective vision in presenting the communication and media reality.

Journal objectives:

     Evly Lee Journal for Public Relations is a peer-reviewed scientific journal issued by the Iraqi Public Relations Association. It has a specialized international academic editorial board that supervises its work and is based on an ethical charter for the rules of publishing and the relationship between it and researchers. It is also based on an internal regulation that organizes the work of arbitration for the research published in it and on a list approved by arbitrators in the types of disciplines Communication Sciences. The goals of the journal can be extracted as following:
